Abstract
Functionally equivalent substitution of an alternate supplier of a Single Use Component for an existing Single Use design provides a business contingency, or a process improvement, with equivalent performance and product quality. As an end-user, we are responsible for assessing the quality requirements to assure that the specifications are being met. This presentation will discuss the need for standards for designs and points to consider when implementing a Single Use Strategy that incorporates the potential for interchangeability
