Abstract
The rigid plastics batch Single-Use-Bioreactor (SUB) global market (~35.000 units in 2020) is supplied by 4 companies. Millipore offer the one size CellReady, Sartorius with the one size UniVessel, Eppendorf offer the 5 sizes BioBLU. The fourth and last manufacturer entering this single-use market is CerCell with their 10 sizes of fully customized CellVessel’s. None of the four suppliers had Single-Use-Mixer (SUM) products ready when fast demand arrived 2020.
